The challenge

One question nobody could answer

Companies with a vehicle fleet juggle an enormous amount of paperwork: registrations, insurance, service intervals, tires, travel orders, fuel receipts and invoices. In most firms it lives in spreadsheets and binders, which means nobody can answer a simple question — what does each vehicle actually cost us? — without days of manual work.

Relixio was conceived to put all of it in one place: a system simple enough for a driver to use on a phone, and rigorous enough for management to trust the numbers.

The solution

What we built

Four connected modules on one database, so a figure entered once shows up everywhere it is needed.

The Relixio mobile app with an active travel order and the recorded route on a map
Driver appAn active travel order with the route recorded on the map.

Mobile

An app for the people behind the wheel

Drivers do not sit at desks, so Relixio goes with them. The mobile app is built with React Native and Expo on the same API as the web application.

  • GPS route recordingThe route is recorded automatically, from order approval to the end of the trip.
  • Expenses from the fieldFuel, tolls and other costs are entered on the spot, against the order.
  • Works without signalData waits on the device and is sent as soon as the connection returns.

Engineering

Decisions that keep it maintainable

01

Clean architecture on .NET

A layered ASP.NET Core API with CQRS, validation and a clear line between business rules and infrastructure.

02

Multi-tenant by design

Every client company sees only its own data, with modules enabled per contract.

03

Three roles, enforced on the server

Administrator, client manager and driver — permissions are checked in the API, not just hidden in the interface.

04

One source of truth for numbers

Reports aggregate the same invoices and mileage that users enter, so totals always reconcile.

05

Bilingual from day one

Serbian and English across the web application, the mobile app and the marketing website.

06

Responsive everywhere

The full application works on a phone as well as on a desktop, down to the last form.
